Prof. KIZILKAN received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Suleyman Demirel University, Turkey in 2008. After a sixteen-year experience at Suleymen Demirel University, he was promoted as full Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Isparta University of Applied Sciences in 2019. He is currently working as Visiting Professor at Doshisha University in Japan, focusing on solar assisted supercritical ORC technology. He had also worked as visiting researcher at UOIT in Canada for one year in 2011.

In March 2024, Prof. KIZILKAN was invited to NITech for Joint Research on Evaluation of energy conversion systems in the view point of exergy, hosted by Associate Prof. Yuhiro Iwamoto and Associate Prof. Daisuke Ishii.
