Prof. Tolstorebrov is currently an Associate Professor in Faculty of Engineering, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway. He has been a researcher and lecturer with 15+ years of experience teaching courses on graduate and postgraduate level. He is interested in the research in the field of sustainability, energy efficiency and optimization in industrial processes technologies: modeling and simulation of integrated refrigeration systems and heat pumps, energy and process analysis of industrial systems, energy, sustainable processing of food, biochemistry. He has published more than 20 journal papers and 60 conference papers in the above fields.
In October 2023, Prof. Tolstorebrov was invited to NITech for Joint Research on Interdisciplinary education and research platform in cold-chain of fish: from Norway to Japan hosted by Prof. Masanori Nakamura and Associate Prof. Yuhiro Iwamoto.
