Dr. Michael STUER is the Scientific Group Leader of Laboratory for High Performance Ceramics, Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Sciences and Technology (Empa), Switzerland.
His Research focus on Powder Processing and Sintering for utmost microstructural control. He is fascinated in combining different approaches to bridge the gap between idealized system descriptions and their statistical relevance in real material systems. In February 2025, Dr. STUER is invited to NITech for Joint Research on Ceramics shaping technique, Fabrication of microdevice hosted by Prof. Takashi SHIRAI.
Title of given lecture in NITech: From transparent alumina to the shaping of ceramic medical microdevices
