Prof. Balint KISS has made significant contributions to the fields of nonlinear mechatronic control systems and robotics. He focuses particularly on the development of advanced control algorithms and their applications in various industrial and applied research settings. His research interests include nonlinear control, motion planning, and autonomous systems. In addition to his research, he is dedicated to teaching and mentoring students, guiding numerous master’s and Ph.D. candidates through their academic and research endeavors. He is also actively involved in various collaborative projects with industry partners, aiming to bridge the gap between academic theoretical research and practical applications.

Seven master’s course students have been received in Prof. KISS’s laboratory through the NITech Grant for Global Initiative Projects since 2016. In March 2025, Prof. KISS is invited to NITech hosted by Prof. Yoshifumi MORITA.
